Tournament Sponsorship Levels
Presenting Sponsorship- (Limited to one Sponsor)
As a Presenting Sponsor, the tournament will be officially called "The FCA Manhattan Cup presented by..." and your company will be linked to the premier inshore fishing tournament in the Northeast. There are no events like this that even come close. All posters, banners and flyers will include this sponsorship designation. Additionally, all tournament clothing will be embroidered with your company name or logo and you will receive top placement for your product or service at the event. $20,000 (Payment can be $10,000 cash & $10,000 retail value of a product.)
Live Release Division Sponsor
This year we will feature cash prizes* for the 3 largest Striped Bass caught and kept alive using a Striper Tube, or FLW Keep Alive Box only. Using these special devices a Striped Bass may be kept alive and in good health for several hours and can be weighed in and released alive! Your company will receive excellent exposure during the presentation of a "Giant Check" made out to the winners presented by your company. Photographs will be provided to media outlets. 5000.00 Cash only.
Awards Dinner Sponsor- (Limited to one Sponsor. Theme can fit your request)
This year's awards ceremony will be held both inside the Chelsea Brewery overlooking the micro brewery's brewing operation and outdoors, under a tent right on the Hudson River, and feature a live auction. This will be a "Themed" party, which in the past, has included an authentic Cajun crawfish boil and fish fry dinner and a live Zydeco band, and "Inspired" drinks. The dinner will be the highlight of this year's tournament and we expect a number of special guests and musicians to raise the excitement bar even higher (Clarence Clemens performed last year!). $5,000 ($8,000 in retail product may be considered).
Tournament Kick-Off Breakfast & Captains Meeting (Limited to one Sponsor)
The pre-launch breakfast is for all captains and participants and will set the tone for the day. As soon as participants and captains arrive, they are greeted with a delicious breakfast overlooking the marina. It's here, where teams meet with their captains and go over the rules of the tournament. A "shotgun" start signifies the beginning of the tournament. $2500.00 ($4,000 in retail product may be considered).
Box Lunch Sponsor- (limited to one Sponsor)
All Captains and participants will receive a delicious box lunch to sustain them through the day. All box lunches will be prominently displayed and then, distributed to all participants before the start of the tournament. This is a great fit for a food based group, or any company that wants to "brand" the boxes themselves. $2,500
(Actual boxed lunches may be considered as sponsorship).
Trophy Division Sponsorships- (Limited to three sponsors)
This year's trophies will be framed works of art. World renowned artist Alan James Robinson has custom designed each trophy print specifically for the Manhattan Cup. Your company's name and the trophy description will be integrated into the artwork (for example the "The Sage Fly fishing Division Award" for largest...)
Trophy sponsorship is at the Division level, and there are three divisions: Fly Fishing, Artificial and Bait. Six trophies will be awarded in each division.
Largest Striped Bass caught by an angler and one for the captain.
Largest Bluefish caught by an angler and one for the captain.
Largest Weakfish caught by an angler and one for the captain.
