WHAT IS IT - The FCA Manhattan Cup has become the premier inshore fishing tournament in the Northeast and the largest catch-and-release tournament in the tri-state area. Angler’s fish for the largest striped bass, bluefish and weakfish among three categories (fly, artificial and bait). *Returning this year is a LIVE RELEASE Division, where anglers return with a striped bass in a special device to be weighed in and released alive at the dock.
WHO IS FCA – Fishermen’s Conservation Association is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to conserving, promoting and protecting New York’s fisheries, estuaries, tributaries and watersheds. Please visit our website at www.joinfca.com to learn more.
WHO IS THERE – Tournament participants represent a veritable who’s who of Wall St. and the “pro fishing” circuit. We expect a number of special guests and musicians to raise the excitement bar even higher (Clarence Clemens performed last year!)
PROCEEDS – Proceeds will help fund our efforts for gamefish status for striped bass, gaining beach access, promoting “Hooked-for-a-Lifetime”, a children’s fishing program and “to-catch-a-cure” for cystic fibrosis.
